Russian volleyball made a huge progress in recent years. Our clubs beat opponents on the stadiums throughout Europe and superstars of the volleyball world wish to join any of Russian teams. Unfortunately, the quality of stadiums where our clubs host their opponents are not always equal to the tons of money paid for the new star players. Bright and qualitative scoreboard is not the thing for spectators, players and coaches but the club’s status as well. It’s good that many Russian sport managers understand this.
The new stadium where high-quality LED screen was installed is volleyball arena in Kaliningrad. ATV Outdoor Systems produces a LED screen (4.86 x 3.65 m) and special software which supports the equipment in the “scoreboard” mode and lets automatically switch from different channels. Also the mode of live broadcasting and repeats of the most interesting moments of a match is provided.
It’s difficult to say how installation of the new LED scoreboard will redound upon the playing of the local volley club Dynamo but the spectators liked the video LED screen.
