It is August of 2006 and specialists of “ATV Outdoor Systems” keep marking new cities on the map of the Russian Federation where ATV-made LED screens were installed. This time the mark is on the capital of Republic of Mordovia – Saransk. The dot is big because there are two video screens by “ATV Outdoor Systems” in the city.
Before the 1000 anniversary of Mordovia’s incorporation into Russia citizens of Saransk received two wonderful video screens as a present.
One screen is placed at the crossing of Kommunisticheskaya st. and Lenin prospect, another one – at the crossing of Polezhaev st. anf Bolshevistskaya st. Technical characteristics of the screen are identical. This is the most popular model of ATV – 5.63 x 4.22 m screen with 22 mm pixel pitch.
The moment the screens were installed, they became the focus of everyone’s attention. And for a good reason. At exactly the same time the city Orthodox Cathedral was commissioned by His Excellency the Patriarch Alexey II.
Thousands of people attended the opening. However only three thousand of them could get inside the Cathedral. Those who couldn’t get inside had an opportunity to watch the first service on the newly-installed video screens made by “ATV Outdoor Systems”.
