Full-color video LED screen in Novokuznetsk (central Siberia) |
In February 2005, ATV specialists installed a full-color video LED screen in the center of Novokuznetsk, an industrial city in central Siberia. The LED screen was placed on the roof of one of the tallest buildings on Ordzhonikidze street, 35.
The LED screen is made of new-generation modules with 22 mm pitch (distance between pixels). The LEDs were assembled on US-grown Cree chips with superior brightness and excellent viewing angles.
Similar to the 38 mm modules, the 22 mm modules are specially designed to be built not only as flat surface screens but also as semi-circular and circular screens.
Advertisers place progressively more focus on dynamic visual technologies based on LED video screens. The number of such video displays is growing every month.
