Upgrade of the full-color video LED screen in the center of Moscow |
In early July, our specialists upgraded the large LED screen installed in Moscow on Pushkinskaya Square (Tvesrskaya 18). Old LED modules were replaced with new made on advanced and much brighter LEDs.
The upgraded LED screen has a much better brightness and viewing angles. For the first time the system of software-hardware correction was employed that allowed to adjust parameters of LEDs with different bins and make the image uniform.
Terminology:
Bin - is a specially selected group of LEDs close in wavelength and luminous intensity.
LED screen parameters:
- Pixel pitch - 38 mm
- Screen's resolution - 256 x 192 pixels (physical resolution)
- Screen's image area - 9.72 x 7.30 meters
